My instructors require my classmates and I to have at least ten hours of volunteer work per semester to remain in the OT program... I really love this requirement. Today, I volunteered at a horse ranch that specializes in hippotherapy. Most kids who participate in hippotherapy usually are affected with cerebral palsy or paraplegia. Needless to say, it was wonderful to get to help with something like this. These kids loved every minute of it.. so much that we really had a hard time getting some of them off of the horses when it was time for them to leave.
